It is essential to fully pay your booking before your departure date. As a lay-by service, Slice Pay works with travel agents to ensure that all booking, be paid off in full prior to departure. This is a fundamental aspect of the lay-by process, where you receive your goods (in this case, flight tickets or other travel products) only after completing the payment.
Your lay by plan will have a final instalment date. You are expected to pay the total balance on that date.

No you are not! Slice partners with your favourite travel brands so they can offer lay by. Therefore you will always complete your payment plan before you use your travel product. We act more like a digital savings product.
Transparent Pricing: The price your travel agent quotes you to use Slice Pay is the price you pay. We do charge a hold price fee. This is used to lock in today's travel product's great price. The exact amount of this Hold Price Fee varies from agent and on booking type. We always state the amount at checkout. Ensure you are happy with this amount before proceeding. This fee covers our expenses (including payment processing). We find customer often end up saving more than our fee by locking in today's prices.
No Interest or late fees: we do not charge late fees or interest for delayed payments. We work with you to ensure you stick to your payment schedule and can travel.
We do understand that sometimes payments are made late. We won’t charge you a late fee. In the case you have missed a payment we’ll send you a notification to let you know we’ve been unable to process a scheduled instalment. We will continue to contact you until you have caught up on the payment. It is when you miss consistent payments that we will need to take further action and your booking may be at risk of cancellation.
