Who is the typical customer who would benefit from Slice Pay?

Slice Pay is for any travellers who want to break up the high upfront cost of travelling into smaller, more manageable chunks. We have seen the following as core customers:

  • Families: the cost of travelling for a family is high due to the number of people travelling. Trips overseas are particularly expensive. Further family budgets are challenging and can make it hard to have the large amounts of cash required to travel tucked away. By working travel into the weekly or fortnightly  budget trips becomes much more accessible for families.
  • Young couples / solos: many younger customers do not have credit cards, and in fact research shows they prefer to use their own money. At the same time Gen Z are prioritising travel and experiences over more traditional expenses. SkyPay lay-by is the perfect option for those customers.
  • Savvy customers: customers may prefer to keep funds in their account for emergencies, and value the cash flow benefits that come from booking travel on lay-by.
