Is there commission on sales? How does that work?

Is there commission on sales? How does that work?

Some agents are eligible for commission on their sales. Commission and the rules for commission our outlined in the agent’s specific agreement. Typically Slice Pay has a minimum mark up we charge and if an agent desires to exceed that mark up they can earn commission.

Commission is paid out on a quarterly basis for all eligible bookings once the customer has completed their lay by plan. You can see expected pay out periods in the table below:

  • In cases where a merchant belongs to a Host agency or Consortia commissions will be passed directly onto the Host agency who will then based on their terms with advisors distribute the commission.
  • Otherwise we will send the commission to the agency’s bank account
    • If you would like the commission to be sent elsewhere please let us know.
  • When we send commission we include a breakdown of all the bookings and the commission you earned. We also will include any adjustment which may need to be made.
