Customers Need to Know About Slice Pay to Use it
When you start offering Slice Pay your customers won’t know what Slic Pay is or why it’s beneficial to them. They will need to be educated on how the product works.
Therefore you need to tell customers about Slice Pay to get that sale!
Who to Offer Slice Pay to
We'd recommend offering Slice Pay to all customers. Customers can only know about Slice Pay if it's offered to them. We have seen that our lay by option is extremely popular with
- Big families, where travel costs quickly become very high when dealing with multiple travellers
- Early planners, people who want to lock in flights now but are not departing for 2+ months (or even longer 6+ months). The long period between purchasing a flight and leaving provides ample time to spread the repayments over time and minimise the repayment amounts
- People flying overseas to visit family or for events are well suited for Slice Pay as they may be aware of the need to travel quite in advance
- Students, who may take some time to save the large cash amounts required for overseas trips and in the meantime flight prices have drastically increased
- Particularly international students are well suited to Slice Pay as they often travel back home which can be expensive
When to offer Slice Pay
During Sales Process
We would recommend explaining the Slice Pay proposition from the beginning of your flight sales process.
- When you quote a price for flights you can say this flight is available for sale price or from weekly instalment amount
- For instance if you have a flight you would be selling to a customer for $1000 in cash you could say to them this flight costs $1000 or from lock it in for just a $110 deposit and pay off the remaining amount from $57.50 per a week using Slice Pay.
At checkout
- When a customer wants to pay we would recommend listing all your payments options including Slice Pay
We would highly recommend offering Slice Pay to all customers as customers will only opt for Slice Pay if they a) know it’s an option b) understand how it works - Once a customer is happy to go ahead with Slice Pay the sales process occurs as detailed in: How Does Slice Pay Work?
